Last week
our students attended two of the most famous tragedies by Shakespeare. We chose
Romeo and Juliet for Secondary students and Hamlet for Bachillerato.
Both were
didactic interactive plays, performed by the Oxford Pocket Theatre Company, in which
some of our students became actors and actresses themselves. Both the
improvised actors/actresses and the audience enjoyed the show and learned some
of the “key lines from the original texts”.
It is a
perfect way of making Shakespeare’s plays more fun and accessible to young
people.
Here are some PICTURES of Romeo and Juliet.
